I gave my boyfriend the panda cookies and told him to guess what they were. He couldn’t. =/
But once I told him what they were, he said he could see them. Sigh. Next time they will look better. But for now, I’m just gonna make regular icebox cookies. That recipe I used (from Martha Stewart) was really buttery and crispy, and I loved that.

Panda Cookies!
I made these cookies today. They’re supposed to be the other halves to my Christmas presents to my boyfriend and one of my good friends. I made a mistake and colored the reddish brown way darker than I intended. =/ And I think I did the proportions kind of funny. But, here we go. I think they look odd. But I suppose they’ll get better in time.

Stuck.
I’m stuck in the house. I want to go to the library, which is 2 minutes away without snow. Because this day will go by faster with a ton of books. But. Mother says the roads aren’t clean yet. I find that hard to believe since the whole way is only main-ish roads. And our road is pretty main and is clean enough to drive on. Sigh. This is one reason why I don’t like snow.

It’s Christmas! A photo of your favorite gift.
Since these only pertain to Christmas presents…this is my favorite. It’s one of those pocket mirror things with my name and the inscription “look into this mirror and see something beautiful.” It almost made me cry. I don’t have issues when it comes to my looks (usually), but that’s something so touching to hear from someone I care deeply about.

Come to door. We have an off-center cedar wreath held by a gold hanger with the word “Peace” and a dove on it. There is also a former snowman magnet glued to the window on our door.

Who is the Most Enthusiastic About Christmas in...
Most probably me, if I had the chance. I’d go all out on everything. Maybe once I graduate from school. I used to get prepared for all the gifts and stuff one month in advance. I sent all my friends Christmas cards. I helped decorate the tree, and I would bake almost every day so the kitchen smelled like all those good holiday spices.
I miss having that freedom. Maybe someday again.
